GRAVELMAN 2026

The 2026 edition of the GRAVELMAN Triathlon and Duathlon for Cancer will take place on Sunday, July 12th in beautiful Killarney Lake Park located in Fredericton, NB. GRAVELMAN is the safest multisport race in all of CANADA! The entire race occurs within the 1200-acre municipal park’s safe boundaries, which feature a warm, sheltered lake with sandy beaches, a 10 km forested cycling loop suitable for "gravel", cyclocross, mountain and fat bikes, and a 2 km lakeside trail run loop.

You name it, we got it! GRAVELMAN 2026 will include the triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and aquathlon disciplines in both INDIVIDUAL and TEAM RELAY categories in the Try-a-Tri (ages 10+), Super-Sprint, Sprint and Olympic/Standard distances: Schedule

Registration

In 2025, GRAVELMAN was SOLD OUT several weeks before race day. For 2026, capacity has been increased but is capped at 200 participants so register early to avoid disappointment! We have the LOWEST adult entry fees in Canada, starting at just $29.99: Register

NO Cut-offs!

That's right - Everybody finishes at GRAVELMAN! Even if we have to stay all night or carry you in our arms, you are crossing the finish line. And if for some reason you can't, maybe due to a mechanical breakdown or injury, next year you race for FREE! That's right - you can come back and take care of unfinished business and its on us!

Fundraiser for Cancer Research

GRAVELMAN is a fundraiser in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Athletes taking part obtain race sponsorships from family and friends with all proceeds going towards cancer research. Any racer who raises just $95 in TAX DEDUCTIBLE donations receives a FREE ENTRY! That's only 4 donations of just $25.00. In 2025, we raised over $10,800 for cancer research! Atlantic Canadian Championships

The races are also serving as the 2026 Atlantic Canadian Championships for cross-triathlon and cross-duathlon.

World Championships Qualifier

GRAVELMAN 2026 is the ONLY race in the Maritimes that has secured male and female OLYMPIC DISTANCE age group qualifier spots (in 5 year increments) for the 2027 Cross-Triathlon and Cross-Duathlon World Championships being held in Edmonton, Alberta. Legendary Finish Line Atmosphere

Maybe you've already heard, but our finish line experience is like no other. Each and every athlete gets to be the centre of attention!

Even on the coldest and wettest of days, enthusiastic spectators crowd the finish area barriers to cheer each athlete on!

No matter what you wear on race day, everyone gets a professional photo running down the chute through the finish line tape while the music rocks and our DJ calls them home!

Then you grab a mallet and beat the Finisher's Gong to triumphantly announce your accomplishment!

Next receive your much-deserved Finisher's Medal and head to the PHOTO BOOTH for some fun posing in front of our professional photographer!

After that, grab some fresh cooked food and refreshments at the BBQ!

And if you post-race legs are feeling stiff, just head over to the Massage Tent for some deep tissue work. Like we said, LEGENDARY!
