The 2026 edition of the GRAVELMAN Triathlon and Duathlon for Cancer will take place on Sunday, July 12th in beautiful Killarney Lake Park located in Fredericton, NB. This “no-frills” race occurs entirely within the municipal park’s safe boundaries, which feature a warm, sheltered lake with sandy beaches, a 5 km forested cycling loop suitable for "gravel" bikes, mountain bikes and fat bikes, and a 2 km lakeside trail run loop.

 

Race Categories

GRAVELMAN 2026 will include the triathlon, duathlon and aquabike disciplines in both INDIVIDUAL and TEAM RELAY categories in the Try-a-Tri, Super-Sprint, Sprint and Olympic/Standard distances: Schedule

Fundraiser for Cancer Research

The event is a fundraiser in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Athletes taking part will obtain race sponsorships from family and friends with all proceeds going towards cancer research. The races are also serving as the 2026 Atlantic Canadian Championships for cross-triathlon and cross-duathlon.

World Championships Qualifier

GRAVELMAN 2026 has secured male and female OLYMPIC DISTANCE age group qualifier spots (in 5 year increments) for the 2027 Cross-Triathlon and Cross-Duathlon World Championships being held in Edmonton, Alberta. For more information, please click on the logo below.
